Empowering, practical, inspiring "Ah Ha" Moments Galore...

In my seminars teaching people "how to learn" anything faster and easier, I've noticed thousands of initial, limiting beliefs like, "I freeze up during tests, I can't remember what I studied, I'm not good at learning news things,", etc.

When you want to change those beliefs or anything else in your life, personal or professional, the information and simple exercises in Darlene's book give you the "how" you need to succeed.

She shows you every human possible human emotion, how each one serves you and can hold you back at the same time.

When I first read her book, (I've read it twice now - it's that good), I jumped to the section in chapter 12, where Darlene guides you through a process showing that your "beliefs" are only one way of looking at something. Right away, it feels like she takes you by the hand and shows you how to change any limiting beliefs simply by seeing or hearing them differently.

This is one of those rare books that I love because it is so practical and easy to follow. It provides the "how" everyone needs to heal and literally gives you the blueprint to make the positive changes to create the life you really want.

From now on, I will include your book in the recommended reading in every coaching session or training I give.

You Deserve All that You Dream

It takes courage to really look inside yourself and ask the "spirit you" what he/she wants and what it is that's stopping you from achieving your dreams. Is it fear of failure, fear of success, lack of focus, childhood issues, not being good enough or is it something hidden deep within? I am on a journey of self discovery and I want to feel whole and complete as I am, with added passion and belief in myself to continue to move forward. I want to stop being stopped.

This book was the catapult that shot me into another level of progress and joy. I was stuck in a job I didn't like, giving half way efforts towards a life I was wishing and dreaming about daily. I had lost sight of my life purpose and constantly felt like I would spin in circles without truly accomplishing anything significant. As I followed the character, Anna, through her struggles, I felt encouraged and I felt hope. I have integrated these lessons into my life and my days are now filled with everything I love. It wasn't easy and I had to take risks. I had to let go of the comfortable and accept that once I committed to my dream, magic would happen. There really is a way to free yourself from negative & limiting beliefs and to accept that you do deserve all that you dream.

I never thought bean dishes could be this tasty

I have never been a bean lover but am a vegetarian. So when I discovered More Easy Beans and found so many great recipes, especially for appetizers, I was hooked. I truly believe this is the best bean book I have ever used. Some recipes call for meat, but of course, everyone has a friend who likes red meat. What I really found helpful was the recipes all use a can of beans or allow you to make the beans from scratch. All the recipes I have tried are right on with the cooking times. Other books I have used produce bean mush at the end. I highly recommend More Easy Beans.

I loved this book, I am on the weight watchers core plan and the recipes in this book are so easy to manipulate to fit into my diet as free food. I never go hungry and the recipes are so awesome. I recommend this book to everyone who loves beans and looking for a little variety on how to cook them. FANTASTIC! LOVE IT!

Very disappointed ...

I was very happy when I found this book on Amazon. I grow up in Bosnia, lived in Croatia and we always cook this kind of food in our house. I was hoping to find some forgotten recipes. Most of the meals I've never heard of and I wonder where these recipes are coming from. If you are looking for Bosnian or Croatian cooking-this is not it.

I was really excited when I ordered this cookbook. I couldn't wait to surprise my boyfriend and his brother with some 'home cooked Bosnian food'. I looked through the many recipes and only recognized the cabbage rolls and the meat pies. So,.. I'm not Bosnian or Croatian, or even Yugoslavian at all. But NO ONE I showed the recipe book to heard of ANY of the recipes in there!! They actually laughed at them,... I was sooo bummed! I'm not saying that the recipes are not authentic, because I don't know. If they are, they're probably just not 'typical' Bosnian recipes, or something. Maybe just Croatian? Any way, I was just a bit disappointed because I REALLY wanted to cook something for my boyfriend and I couldn't because he didn't know what the recipes were either. Easy enough to read, metric measurements,.. just not at all what I expected. Still, some interesting and tasty sounding recipes.

Don't see making any of the recipes here. Everything is metric, with no conversion charts. So you'll have to take the extra time to find ll of the conversion on line. Also, several recipes say to put it in the oven for a specified time, but does not tell you what temperature to put the oven at.

Best National Board Study Book I Had

I had 5 Nt'l Board study books (ridiculous, I know!): I won one, was given two, and bought two. This one was definitely my favorite. It presented the important, need-to-know information in a concise manner. The questions at the end of each section were very relevant and helpful. I scored very highly on my NBDHE, and I definitely recommend this book!

Great book!

I ordered this book quickly after ordering the Mosby's review (which was ridiculous, by the way... don't get it). This book was very easy to read and understand, which was the best part. It wasn't overloaded with every microscopic detail of each section, like the Mosby's book was, so I got through it pretty quick and didn't have to waste my time on information that wasn't on the boards. The questions at the end of the section were very helpful, though some were outdated but you can pick those out quickly. There are some mispelled words in the book but whatever, that isn't going to cause you to fail. I solely used this book and a board review book (which was very, VERY similar to this) to study for boards and passed! So yes, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone studying for the dental hygiene boards!!
