Information useful, flimsy material...

The mini drug book had useful information but I did not like the format that it came in. They technically NOT cards. It's a mini book with flimsy paper and if you decided to cut the "cards" out, they would be extremely thin and could rip or damage easily. I was really expecting card stock material or in the least actual index cards. I gave it 3 stars because the info is still useful.

not a great resource

I ordered these because I was having a hard time remembering drug info. I found that these cards did not help because they do not give enough background info regarding what the drug is usually used for - only class, side effects, and nursing considerations. It is hard for me to remember a drug without knowing what conditions it is primarily used to treat. Nursing is about the big picture, not fact memorization. I'm having much better success making my own flash cards based on the info in my NCLEX review book.

Not what I expected

This book was not at all what I expected. It isn't flashcards, it's made of regular flimsy sheets of paper. I was hoping it would be like index cards. Not user friendly at all, different medication on the back and not of the same group of drugs. It's collecting dust on my book shelf, wish I could return it.

About the Author

In August of 1996, Robert released his first book, She Calls Me Daddy: Seven Things Every Man Needs to Know about Building a Complete Daughter. The book became a bestseller. He is also the author of many other titles including The Most Important Place on Earth: What a Christian Home Looks Like and How to Build One; Seven Things You Better Have Nailed Down before All Hell Breaks Loose and the sequel to his first book, She Still Calls Me Daddy: Building a New Relationship with Your Daughter after You Walk Her Down the Aisle. He has also co-written The Most Important Year in a Man’s Life: What Every Groom Needs to Know with Mark DeVries, and What’s in the Bible with Dr. RC Sproul.

His speaking assignments have taken him across America and through several foreign countries.

Robert Wolgemuth has served two terms as the Chairman of the Evangelical Christian Publishers’ Association. As a layman, he has taught adult Sunday school classes since 1969 in Texas, Tennessee and Florida

A 1969 graduate of Taylor University, he received an honorary doctorate in 2005. Robert, a widower, is the father of two adult daughters and five grandchildren. In the fall of 2015, Robert married Nancy Leigh DeMoss. .

Bought this for my husband for Father's Day. He is in the middle of the study. He likes it because it is broken into small segments, which makes it easy to do, even if you are strapped for time. He says it is very challenging and thought provoking. Some of the items are aimed at fathers of older children, and since our daughter is still an infant, don't really pertain to him. But, he thinks he will repeat this study as our children grow.

One of the few things I can count on is that the Author will continue to regale us with his sometimes witty and sometimes silly accounts of the hijinks of the Thursday night crew. I am addicted to his tales and have been following online for years. When I am stuck at work or in traffic on the way home from work its good to know that John and friends are paddling in storms at night or philosophizing around a campfire.

This product has been mislabeled by the publisher. It is a booklet of Spanish verb forms, but it is not flash cards. The book is made of paper in a normal binding, and claims to be in a flash card format, whatever that means. It is a reference book on Spanish verbs, not a set of flash cards for studying on the run.

These are not flashcards as advertised. Instead it's just another boring book of conjugated verbs. It's not even possible to cut the pages out and use them as flascards because they're too thin (nothing like flascards should be).

The project grew into this cookbook Josie's Recipe Collection: From Cooks and Kitchens of Central New York.She has a background in critical care nursing, having been a nurse for 25 years. A graduate of MVCC in Utica, New York 1979 with an AAS in Nursing, she is practicing cardiovascular nursing at the present time. She holds a Masters Degree in Nursing.Karen has been writing for a hobby for over 30 years. Her next project is to publish a children's book series and then her volumes of poetry. She has professional nursing articles that have been published.

Helping children understand mortality

While the book covers the aging, illness and death of Buddy, a beloved family pet, it goes far beyond by serving as a metaphor for the mortality that all pets and people on planet Earth must face. Children gain comfort from learning that the natural process of aging and death is simply a physical phenomenon. The concept that the spirit continues is presented in a way that all faiths can feel comfortable with. A fine book and genuine public service with beautiful photographs.

Attesting to the clarity and strength of this guide, the touching photographic illustrations alone could convey most of the message. Even so, their insight into how a child may show grief and how to use a journal-workbook to facilitate the process are essential for every parent.

Tender and touching book for children and adults

This book deals with the dying and grieving process involved in losing a pet. It is a good conversation starter for parents looking for ways to address the topic of death, dying and loss, not just for a family pet, but for other loved ones as well. It also a good book to acknowledge and affirm the importance of pets in a family's life. I would recommend it for children and adults as a compassionate and touching look at pet loss. The pictures are beautiful.
